About us

  • More than 23 years of experience in buying and second-hand goods.

    Cash For You is an independent Geneva business specialising in buying, selling and valuing new, pre-owned and premium items.

    Behind Cash For You lies, above all, long hands-on experience. Its founder, Farid Dahmani, spent 14 years within the Cash Converters network, including at several locations in French-speaking Switzerland, before pursuing his entrepreneurial path in retail, mobile phones and multimedia.

    That experience gave rise to Cash For You in Geneva, with one goal: to offer a more personal, more demanding approach, suited to the way second-hand is evolving.

    For nine years, our Plainpalais shop has welcomed sellers and buyers across very different worlds: leather goods and luxury, watches, jewellery, smartphones, computing, gaming, photography, audio and much more.

    More than two decades of experience, now brought together under one roof: Cash For You.

  • Trust isn’t claimed. It’s earned.

    Buying or selling a valuable item calls for trust above all. That’s why we favour a simple, transparent and human relationship.

    Every item has its own story, condition and value. Our role is to assess it carefully, taking into account both the product itself and the reality of the market.

    Our commitment rests on a few simple principles: expertise, transparency, selection, traceability and proximity.

    And behind cashforyou.ch there is no anonymous platform: there is a real shop in Geneva and a team available six days a week.

  • Buying or selling at Cash For You should stay simple.

    Looking to sell?

    Start with an online valuation or come straight to our shop. Once the item has been checked, we present our offer. You are then entirely free to accept it or not.

    Looking to buy?

    Browse our selection online or in store. Our items are carefully described so you know their condition, features and included accessories before you buy.

    Our website and our shop work hand in hand: the ease of digital, with a real team to meet in Geneva.

  • Give a second life to what you no longer use.

    Smartphone, computer, watch, jewellery, luxury bag, console, camera, audio equipment or any other valuable item: Cash For You buys a wide range of product categories.

    You can send a first request through our online Valuation service, with a few details and photos.

    Our team then examines your item and, once it has been checked, makes you a buy-back offer.

    A clear valuation. A no-obligation offer. A decision that is yours.

    Get my item valued

  • Because in second-hand, experience makes the difference.

    Behind every valuation are more than 23 years of experience in buying and reselling.

    This experience allows our team to handle very different worlds, from smartphones to watches, leather goods to jewellery, computing to photography.

    But Cash For You is also:

    • a physical shop in the heart of Geneva;
    • thousands of items assessed over the years;
    • a selection of pre-owned and premium items;
    • warranties on eligible products;
    • and above all a real person to talk to before, during and after your purchase or sale.

    Our goal isn’t simply to sell second-hand.

    We want to build confidence in second-hand.
